in 1907 with a shop in downtown Los Angeles in 1973.

Maine Machine works built the first practical bread
slicer in 1926.

Today, UBE is the largest supplier of bread and
the bun slicers and baggers in the United States.

UBE employs 95 people in its Rancho Dominguez, California
and Lenexa, Kansas factories.

Sales have been made in 40 countries in North & South American, Europe, Asia, the Mid-East and Australia/ New Zealand.

Production is about 160 machines per year.
