An integrated slicing and packaging system designed for hearth bread and round bakery products. The system combines UBE’s Model 90-75 band slicer with the Model 77-H Hearth Bread Paddle Bagger for controlled slicing, product transfer, and bagging at speeds up to 50 loaves per minute.

How it works
Self-Adjusting Product Infeed
Hearth bread enters the Model 90-75 through a specialized infeed with a spring-loaded, self-adjusting top belt designed to accommodate round products and variations in loaf profile.
Controlled Slicing
Low-profile side belts guide the loaf through the slicing blades to maintain product control and help prevent the heel from being lost after slicing. Offset blade guides reduce product build-up, while the slice thickness adjustment mechanism can be removed for wash-down cleaning.
Precise Product Transfer
After slicing, product is transferred toward the 77-H bagger using a servo-driven feeder mechanism that provides precise control as the loaf enters the packaging section.
Paddle Bagging
The Model 77-H Hearth Bread Paddle Bagger uses a high-speed top transfer system to move sliced product smoothly and efficiently into the bag for continuous packaging production.
